might resolve that. that is not the way we do business in san francisco, particularly when you convert a use of an art gallery to cafe to restaurant. we actually reached out to the 5th district supervisor who did hold a series of meetings. the restaurant owner never attended those meetings and never heard a word from the restaurant owner. in this case where you have a significant fire/life safety issue, it would be extremely inappropriate for this board to act as plan checkers and take jurisdiction over what is clearly a defective permit and figure out some solution that would possible benefit the perform applicant who submitted a defective permit. they need to go back through the process and get this in front of fire department, which is not under the jurisdiction of the board of appeals and the fire department has to review whatever they want to do and make sure it's going to be safe for the tenants of the building, and for the neighbors of the building. and we think that you should revoke the permit. >> i have a question about the duct. is there any -- and maybe mr. boskvich would

, there was maybe two homeless people shooting up in the alley. well, it's the city of san francisco, people shoot up all over the place. it doesn't matter where they are. they will do that. people will defecate on city streets or the dogs will defecate. it doesn't matter where they are, whether there is a gate or not. this is really about handicapped access. and so i just think that the safety, again, if the gates are closed at night, yes, there is more protection for the people that live in both buildings. i am for that. i really hate that gate is up there, but if it has to be up, open during the day, close it at night. the other thing and tuck would understand the term, this has been furr bar from the beginning. it was illegal, no permits and it was done under the wire and it was done without consent and now the gate is damaged. he screwed up again. how how many screwups does mr. flynn have to do before the board recognizes that is he incompetent and this is not right for our neighborhood? i am advocating that it come down and your time being better spent and our time be better spent and we c

, at 3:21 in the morning, news, and the cad reads, san francisco hilton, rp, loud music coming from 1020, means the location, from naan-n-curry. and this one is from july 27, 2012. this is at 2:44 in the morning. and we have let's see, this is just a person calling about this place here. we have another trespasser. this is july the 27th. and this is at 2:30 in the morning from naan-n-curry. and then we have another trespasser, and this is 3:00 in the morning. and let's see, it says, inside naan-n-curry a male being aggressive with other customers. and this one is september 2, at 2:30 in the morning, the cad reads, 30 people inside, fight, trespasser, and it reads a female caller. and these are mostly males fighting inside the restaurant. and like i said, this is at 2:30 in the morning. another cad called. this is 4:21 in the morning and this is september the second. and the cad reads, wireless call from verizon, naan-n-curry but it sounds like there is a problem inside. and then gave a couple of street names, there was a fight inside naan-n-curry. subjects involved and they left the rest

of paintings at the old mint in san francisco. they reflected scenes from that part of california. he took us down there and proudly showed us her work. although he traveled the world his family was always in his thoughts. california was always his home. what i will most remember about chris is how thoughtful he was and how people were drawn to him. chancellor wu wrote when chris was appointed ambassador, friends, professional acquaintances contacted me to encourage me to reach out to him. he was so well thought of. i sent a hand-written card and to my surprise he returned the correspondence with his own handwritten note. that would be very much like chris. he appreciated and enjoyed interactions with people. in fact, our friend chris highland put it very eloquently when he said, chris was the finest among us. more than his obviously charms, he was a man of substance and humility. at parties, dinners and gatherings he spent little times talking about himself and his accomplishments. only when he was forced to. instead he asked people about their lives, their views, their accomplishments. he a

, huge population now in san francisco. and we serve them vegetarian and vegan which is a stricter diet, i guess. and we actually prepare the food fresh. so nothing is deep fried or made that was frozen and reserved. so it will take a little more effort on our part to actually produce this food and it will take a while to deliver and take a while to sit and seat the meal as well. so it is a little bit different than the restaurants around the corner from us. so it happens and that we are in a strange situation where we actually have four 24/7 restaurants half a block away from us. i actually drew a map in the back and so you could go to slide six or seven and a map that shows that we are next to the cafe, and jack in the box at 24/7 and cafination and a diner. by, or most of the time, this restaurant is a very quiet, family, with children running around, that kind of a place. unfortunately, we are also some what have to be on the weekends between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 a crowd that comes out of clubs and ambassadors and they are some what intoxicated, some of them ar, absolutely. som

serving on there. i worked with and seen commissioner sing, i was a retiree from the san francisco redevelopment agency for 40 years. i've seen redevelopment in its best years, i support all of the people who are being appointed to this new commission. the wisdom and the knowledge that this new commission brings i think is going to be beneficial to our community. i also would like this commission to make sure that the certificate of preference of persons in the redevelopment agency both in western addition, hunter's point, midmarket, certificate of preference be extended and make sure those people have preference on all development that's coming in. i also served on mayor allioto's commission for the close of the shipment in 1973, commitments made by the navy that guaranteed 50 percent of all work and 35 percent of all contracts go to residents in the bayview hunter's point community and i'd like for you guys to look into that. margaret beales was the person working on it at that time and i know still around, maybe you guys can get some of the resources he had during that commi
